From Africa to Europe, from the United States to India, from Bethlehem to China, the wonderful world of children is seen through the eyes of 14 great photographers, members of French Agency Rapho. The exhibition includes two sections: the first one with photographs taken between 1945 and 1960 by Rapho "pioneers" Robert Doisneau, Willy Ronis, Edouard Boubat, Janine Niepce, Sabine Weiss and Jean-Philippe Charbonnier. The other section with photographs by the exponents of Rapho new generation Jean-Louis Courtinat, Francois Le Diascorn, Valérie Winckler, Yves Jeanmougin, Lily Franey, Georges Dussaud, Charles Harbutt, Jean-Marc Charles.

The exhibition shows 56 black and white photographs featuring children playing and dancing and skating. Even where there is urban decay and poverty, the camera has managed to catch their joie de vivre.

The children's imagination, in fact, can make a tyre, a jump and a somersault a reason for celebrating the beauty of life.
