Unione Industriali di Como in association with Credito Valtellinese and Como Confidi are organising a conference on the new Basel II Agreement on Credit Risk Regulation to be held on Wednesday 14th May starting at 5 p.m. at Unione Industriali headquarters in Via Raimondi 1, in Como.
The conference is about the Italian banking system and the new Basel II Accord, which is due to take effect by 2006. Set up to further mitigate lending risks, Basel II will consider factors such as an external rating to be awarded to a company before granting credit facilities. The amount of credit and the rate you pay will depend on the rating awarded to your company.
