A year abroad with Credito Valtellinese banking Group

Also for the school year 1999-2000, Credito Valtellinese banking Group proposes the grant "A year abroad", which enables the grantee to choose his destination among more than 20 countries in Europe and in the rest of the world.

In previous years, four teen-agers enjoyed the opportunity to stay in various countries, such as Kansas, the island of Orkney, to the north of Scotland and Norway. Chiara Nirci, who won the grant in 1997, chose Damariscotta, Maine.

This year too, the winner of the selection Intercultura is making in November will stay in a foreign family and attend a local high school in his favourite foreign country. In Italy, the school year will be recognized, in conformity with article 192 of the Unified Body of Laws on School n. 297/94.

Only Bankaperta junior account holders and Banca Sport account holders at Credito Valtellinese and Credito Artigiano can participate in the selection. They must apply within October 20 1998, must have been born between January 1 1982 and December 31 1984 and be enrolled in a high school.

The application form is available at any Credito Valtellinese and Credito Artigiano branch, where all information concerning the initiative is provided.

Credito Valtellinese banking Group Grant includes all travel expenses and stay expenses, the local school attendance with the relative didactic material, continuous attendance, preparatory course before leaving and at the arrival in the foreign country, medical expenses and insurance.

The grantee is leaving in August 1999 and is expected to come back to Italy in July 2000.

Bankaperta Junior club and Banca Sport club offer several initiatives to their account holders. As an example, there is Euroagenda, the exclusive diary devoted to the new European single currency, the Euro. Euroagenda is distributed for the new school year. Moreover, all teen-agers who open an account in this period will be given Euroagenda as a present.
