Board of Directors of Bancaperta approves half-yearly report as of June 30, 2003. Appointed new top management team
Sondrio, September 4, 2003 - In a meeting chaired by Renato Bartesaghi, the Board of Directors of Bancaperta SpA has examined and unanimously approved the half-yearly report for the period ended June 30, 2003, which recorded net profits for € 3.6 million and assets under management for over 3.6 million euros representing something like 50,000 contracts.
Bancaperta is the Credito Valtellinese web-bank, as it provides a wide range of Internet banking services to the Group's clientele (i.e. banc@perta line). Bancaperta is also the company entrusted with all issues pertaining to Finance, in particular with asset management, assets administrations and private banking. At present, the banc@perta users are more than 140,000 customers.
The Board of Directors has also appointed the new top management team of the bank. Former General Manager (since 1998) Silvio Bagiotti has been appointed Managing Director, former deputy General Manager (since 1999) Norberto Gualteroni General Manager and Luigi Tavasci deputy General Manager.

Formerly entrusted with important positions in the Group parent bank, Silvio Bagiotti, 55, was appointed general manager of Bancaperta in July 1998. He is today Chairman of insurance company Global Assistance S.p.A and a member of the Board of Directors in other Credito Valtellinese Group member companies.
Norberto Gualteroni, 56, has been working with the Credito Valtellinese since June 1996. He was
appointed deputy general manager of Bancaperta in 1999. At present, Norberto Gualteroni occupies important positions in the Group member companies as well as in other companies. He is Chairman of Aperta Gestioni Patrimoniali SA, a company based in Lugano (CH), and a member of the Board of Directors of CENTROSIM S.p.A., a company providing intermediation services to Popular Banks
