Rileno to provide a wider range of services to local bodies
Lecco, December 10, 2002 - Rileno, Credito Valtellinese banking Group, is launching a new range of services specifically designed to bring administrations closer to the citizens, as regards functionality and transparency in the local tax system.
The new services include a computerized system applying to traffic violations, which helps the municipal police officers, as well as a project for providing detailed information on the municipal property tax to be paid by taxpayers.
The launch of the new services was made possible also thanks to Rileno's membership of the Credito Valtellinese banking Group, which has always been offering support to local bodies and administrations. Since its joining the Group in July 2002, Rileno, the company entrusted with the tax collection service in the provinces of Como and Lecco, has been offering greater flexibility as regards a range of customized solutions for local administrations, along with the services that are traditionally offered such as the collection of municipal property tax and urban solid waste disposal tax)
Below are the main innovations in the services offered by Rileno:
Tax/rate. This service provides support to the municipal authorities as regards the urban solid waste disposal tax (Tarsu). This tax is soon to become a rate imposed on the basis of the actual amount of waste which is produced by families rather than on the flat size. Regulations for the imposition of taxes, forecasts about the impact on family consumptions and not the entire tax collection service management are only a few of the services that Rileno is offering to the local bodies.
Computerized system for traffic violation management. Municipal police officers are benefiting from an integrated system that allows the automated management and control of traffic violations. The services include the supply of electronic forms to the Municipal Police, as well as facilities for entering information and images from the original copy of the ticket and for collecting the amount of the fine, also assessing possible failures to pay.
Ici web Internet. This service allows taxpayers to calculate the amount of the municipal property tax (Ici) online. The web site provides all useful information to calculate the amount to be paid, electronic forms, also offering the opportunity to pay by credit card.
Tax advice. Web site providing information and updates to local tax consultants
Pegasus. This service has been implemented to provide each taxpayer with the Ici tax form along with instructions for filling it out correctly, a property tax schedule, information on anomalies that could arise from the local administration checks
Sundry incomes. This service provides an integrated system for the management of sundry incomes (e.g. water supply fees, rents, power supply for votive lamplights, school boarding fees) It also allows the automated storage of taxpayers' personal information, the issue of invoices and notices, as well as the collection of taxes at any Credito Valtellinese branch office, post office or via the Internet by credit card
