Gruppo bancario Credito Valtellinese Golf Cup 2004: Credito Siciliano organises competition to be held at Picciolo Golf Club, Sicily
Acireale, May 21, 2004. A golf competition organised by the bank Credito Siciliano will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2004 at the Picciolo Golf Club in Castiglione di Sicilia, Catania, Sicily.
The event is part of Gruppo bancario Credito Valtellinese Golf Cup 2004, which includes five more competitions to be held at very famous Golf Clubs located around Lombardy and the Final, which will be held on September 21, 2004 at the Villa d'Este Golf Club, near Como.
This sporting initiative set up by the Credito Valtellinese banking Group in association with local firms (Consorzio Tutela Formaggi Valtellina Casera e Bitto, Consorzio Tutela Vini Valtellina, Salumificio Rigamonti S.p.A, Del Zoppo Bresaole S.r.l., Salumificio Panzeri S.r.l, Bagni di Bormio S.p.A) is intended to promote cultural traditions and the culinary heritage of Valtellina throughout Italy and in the world, to preserve and enhance tourism.
To this aim, a fine selection of wine, cheese and bresaola from Valtellina is being offered at the Clubhouse.
Gruppo Credito Valtellinese Golf Cup 2004 is also a charity event to support ABIO - Associazione per il Bambino in Ospedale - a campaigning organisation for the rights of children in hospital. For many years now, Abio has been committed to reducing the impact of hospitalization on the child and his family. On the day of the final challenge, in which the best players of the tournament are taking part, a donation will be made to ABIO.
