Credito Valtellinese: The Board of Directors Names Enzo Rocca the New Assistant Managing Director
Sondrio, 13th June 2006 - The Board of Directors of Credito Valtellinese took another step towards completion of the plan to revise the parent company's corporate governance structure approved during the 11th May 2006 session by appointing Enzo Rocca as the company's new Assistant Managing Director. Rocca, 42 years old, with a degree in Business and Economics from the Università La Sapienza di Roma, has been listed in the Registry of Auditors since 1995 and the Registry of Accountants since 1991; he brings to the job his long experience in positions of responsibility at leading Italian banks.
A member of the Credito Valtellinese Group team since 1999, he has filled a variety of positions at the company with increasing levels of responsibility in the areas of administration, planning, and risk management; he has been in charge of the parent company's administrative management since 2001. Rocca also occupies important administrative positions in Deltas S.p.A., which acts as a corporate center for the parent company, aiding it in the definition and control of its unified business plan, as well as in Aperta SGR S.p.A. and Mediocreval S.p.A., all of which are part of the Credito Valtellinese banking group.
Rocca, who has authored a number of publications on bank management and accounting, will take his place alongside the other members of the parent company's general management, consisting of Miro Fiordi, the Managing Director, Giovanni Paolo Monti, Assistant and Deputy Managing Director, and Franco Sala, Assistant Managing Director.
