Credito Valtellinese Group: share of Banca di Cividale S.p.A held by the parent company Credito Valtellinese S.c. is increased to 25%.
Sondrio, 29 December 2005 - This is in reference to the press releases dated 16 December 2003 and 5 May 2005, which announced the strategic agreement reached by Credito Valtellinese Group and the Banca Popolare di Cividale Group, and the subsequent entry of Credito Valtellinese S.c. into Banca di Cividale S.p.A. capital with a minority share of 22.22% through the subscription of a reserved capital increase of approximately € 68 million.
In this regard, Credito Valtellinese S.c., as part of the above agreements, has purchased another share of Banca di Cividale S.p.A. equity, amounting to 2.78% of capital, at a cost of approximately € 8.6 million. Credito Valtellinese S.c.'s shareholding in the Friuli bank has therefore increased to 25% following this operation.
