THE FIRST SERIES OF CISCO COURSES IS NOW OVER
The Cisco CCNA certificates were given to candidates in the presence of representatives of the companies involved in the initiative: the CV Foundation Chairman Francesco Guicciardi, Bankadati Chairman Renato Bartesaghi with the Managing Director Monti, the Head of the Local Academy Mr Snider, the Cisco representatives Andrea Pirone and Luca Lepore, the Head of the Regional Cisco Esip of Como Gioacchino Ancillai and Crypto Managing Director Paolo Carrara.
The ceremony was also an occasion to make a few general considerations about this new opportunity, which has been offered to the candidates in the province of Sondrio.
The CV Foundation has attached great importance to the initiative, since the experiences of the candidates will be consolidated and institutionalised to instruct experienced system administrators. In a moment when the market is becoming more and more influenced by the globalization process and telecommunications network, it increasingly requires new professional resources offering services in the field of information technology. But, at present, each company basically has to manage in preparing its technical staff. There should be special courses, as well as refresher courses, aimed at providing the staff with the basic competences and upgrades required by the technological innovations.
The courses are meant to provide the participants with CISCO CCNA certifications, in conformity with international standards. In Italy, the Cisco certifications conform to Confindustria Assinform and Confcommercio Assintel standards.

A first series of Cisco CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) courses organised by the Credito Valtellinese Foundation Local Academy was held at Credito Valtellinese Training Center in Tresivio. The courses were meant to instruct young graduates of the province of Sondrio in configuring and administrating corporate Intranets and in enabling Internet access by the public.
