A year abroad with Credito Valtellinese Foundation

Also this year, Credito Valtellinese banking Group, in association with Credito Valtellinese Foundation and with the co-operation of Associazione Intercultura, offers the grant "A Year Abroad". The grant will enable a young customer to spend a year abroad choosing his destination from more than 20 countries available in Europe and in the rest of the world

Up to now, seven students have enjoyed the opportunity to spend a year in different countries, such as Kansas, the Orkney Island - to the North of Scotland - Norway, Maine, Arizona and Denmark where Laura Fascendini from Nuova Olonio (SO), the 1999 grantee, is at the moment. They all obtained very positive results.

Also this year, the grantee will stay at a selected foreign family and attend a local high school in his favourite country. In Italy, the school year will be recognized, in conformity with article 192 of the Unified Body of Laws on School n. 297/94.

Only Bankaperta junior account holders and Banca Sport account holders at Credito Valtellinese and Credito Artigiano can participate in the selection. They must apply within October 20 2000, must have been born between January 1 1984 and June 30 1986 and be enrolled in a high school.

The application form is available at any Credito Valtellinese and Credito Artigiano branch office, as well as at any Intercultura centre, where all information concerning the initiative is provided. The initiative is also advertised on the Group's web site (www.creval.it).

Credito Valtellinese Foundation Grant includes all travel expenses and stay expenses, the local school attendance with the relative didactic material, continuous attendance, preparatory course before leaving and at the arrival in the host country, medical expenses and insurance cover.

The grantee is leaving in July or August 2001 and is expected to come back to Italy in July 2002.
