Credito Siciliano awards prize for thesis on credit. Special auction to be held on the occasion

The annual prize-giving ceremony organized by the Italian Association of banking companies granting loan against security will be held on Saturday July 20 2002 at 8 p.m. inside the Credito Siciliano Palace in Via S. Euplio, in Catania. The prizewinner Tiziana Tummino has graduated in Economics from the Catania University with a thesis entitled "Il credito su pegno. Profili storici, disciplina giuridica, prospettive" (Loan against security. Historical background, legal aspects, prospects). Congratulating the neo-graduate on her receiving the prize, the Credito Siciliano has given Miss Tummino a € 3,000 cheque wishing her all the best for her future career.

On the occasion of the prize giving, a special auction, open to anyone, will be held to put up for auction silverware, jewellery, watches and various objects of exquisite workmanship.
