Credito Siciliano awarded new Quality Certification

Palermo, 24th June, 2003. The Credito Siciliano, a Credito Valtellinese Group member bank, has been successfully audited against UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 standards and was awarded the new UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 certification by the CISQCERT supervisory committee. The Credito Siciliano has held its own prestigious certification for the ISO9001 Quality Management System since 2001. Following the CISQCERT audits, Credito Siciliano has recently achieved certification of the quality also for its credit procedures, bank transfers, finance department and treasury services provided to public and private bodies.

Since 1995, when the parent bank Credito Valtellinese was awarded - first in Italy - the certification of quality, five member companies have received the Quality System Management Certification in turn (i.e. Credito Artigiano, Credito Siciliano, Bancaperta, Bankadati - Servizi Informatici, Stelline - Servizi Immobiliari).

The quality certification awarded to Credito Siciliano definitely confirms the Creval Group's strategic and fundamental commitment, which ultimately aims at satisfying the requirements of its customers, shareholders and staff as well as of local communities in the areas served by its banking network.
