Credito Siciliano: Saverio Continella and Mauro Selvetti are the new Deputy General Managers

Acireale, 25 July 2006 - The Board of Directors of Credito Siciliano (Credito Valtellinese Group) met today with Chairman Carlo Negrini presiding and appointed Saverio Continella and Mauro Selvetti the new Deputy General Managers.

Saverio Continella, 38 years old, with a degree in Economics and Business from the University of Catania and a Master's Degree in Bank Management from Cefor Milan, has been registered in the Registry of Auditors since 1999 and in the Registry of Accountants since 1995. Mr. Continella ha been a part of the Credito Valtellinese Group since 1993 and has accrued professional experience in various positions with increasing degrees of responsibility in various specialised Group companies and banks. His most recent previous post was manager of the Staff and Organisational Services Department of Credito Artigiano.

Mauro Selvetti, 45 years old, part of the Credito Valtellinese Group since 1981, has earned a great deal of business experience: he has managed branches of the parent company and filled the post of area manager, as well as managed and developed human resources in the role of human resources manager for Credito Valtellinese, Credito Artigiano, and, most recently, the Group Resource Department.

The new appointees will work together with General Manager Francesco Giacobbi, replacing Umberto Colli and Renato Merlino, the current Deputy General Managers, who will go on to fill other positions within the Group.
