Credito Siciliano: new structure for the executive board

Acireale, 24 February 2005. The Board of Directors of Credito Siciliano has passed a resolution regarding the new structure of the bank's executive leadership.

The office of General Manager will continue to be held by Mr. Francesco Giacobbi, whereas Mr. Renato Merlino, formerly Deputy General Manager, has been named Acting Deputy General Manager, with specific powers to oversee the bank's operations in western Sicily.

The Board has also appointed Mr. Umberto Colli to the office of Deputy General Manager, with specific duties in the marketing area. Mr. Colli comes to the bank from the parent company Credito Valtellinese, and has acquired significant experience within the group in the sector of finance and credit, holding important positions with various banks and specialized firms belonging to the conglomerate.
