Consorzi Fidi Siciliani and Credito Siciliano sign agreement for providing easier access to credit facilities

Acireale, May 31, 2004 - Following today's meeting, the chairman of ArtigianFidi Sicilia and Euroconfidi - Mr Antonio Barone - and the General Manager of Credito Siciliano - Mr Francesco Giacobbi - have signed two new agreements aimed at granting credit lines facilities to the 'Consorzio per la garanzia collettiva dei fidi' member firms (Sicilian Syndicates of firms for the purpose of receiving credit).

The main guidelines and terms of the agreement were illustrated during the meeting. Also this agreement, said Giacobbi, is to be regarded as a tangible commitment by the Credito Siciliano (a Credito Valtellinese Group member bank) to sustain Sicily's economic development in accordance with the local needs.
