Palermo - Following a meeting which was held on Wednesday May 14, 2003, deputy Vice Chairman of Confcommercio Sicilia Mr Roberto Helg and Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Credito Siciliano Mr Carlo Negrini have signed an agreement aimed at reducing costs for the Confcommercio member firms.
The main guidelines and terms of the agreement were illustrated to the press during the meeting. Carlo Negrini has focused on the importance of this agreement as a tangible commitment by the Credito Siciliano (a Credito Valtellinese Group member bank) to sustain Sicily's economic development in accordance with the local needs.
Roberto Helg regards the agreement as a great step forward, which can help increase market competitiveness of the Confcommercio member firms thanks to the launch of new Internet banking services and e-commerce facilities.
