
Opening of new office district for Credito Siciliano
Acireale, December 18, 2003 - The opening ceremony of a new office district located in the expansion area of Acireale, Sicily, was held today in the presence of local authorities and representatives of Credito Siciliano.
The office district is in a modern building on three floors comprising a basement level, a green area and close to a large car park accessible from both the local road network and the near motorway linked to Catania Airport 'Fontanarossa'.
With an indoor area of around 13,500 square meters (as well as about 1,200 square meters destined for garages, warehouses and technical storerooms), this centre has been designed to house Credito Siciliano headquarters and offices, as well as Acireale sub-branch 2, which is currently located in its neighbourhood, and the premises of other companies within the Group:
- Service companies:
- Deltas - corporate centre co-ordinating and controlling the design, development, delivery of services from a single centre for the entire Group;
- Bankadati S.I. - company providing technological support to the Group, responsible for the development and management of information and communications technology;
- Stelline - company responsible for managing the Group's real estate assets;
- Companies specialised in the area of Finance:
- Bancaperta - bank specialised in financial market operations and money transfers;
- Cassa San Giacomo - bank providing services in the area of credit risk management;
- Rileno - company entrusted with local finance issues and tax collection services.

There are 300 workplaces in the office district and approximately 200 places in its canteen;
It also offers a range of conference facilities, including a conference hall that can accommodate up to 150 and 8 rooms for training days;
