Grant "A year abroad with Bankaperta Junior" Credito Valtellinese banking Group

On June 5 1997, at 11.30 a.m. in Palazzo Sertoli, Credito Valtellinese assigned the grant "A year abroad", which the bank endows in association with Intercultura, the most important Italian association for youth cultural exchanges as regards size and programs.

The grant is assigned to teen-agers (14 to 16 years' old) holding a Bankaperta Junior account. The grantee can stay in a foreign country, chosen among a number of possible destinations in Europe and in the rest of the world, where he attends a local high school.

Last September, Bankaperta Junior account holders were informed of the initiative by mail. The initiative was also presented by the local press and in the schools by Intercultura employees.

On December, Alessandra Marchesini won the selection and on August next, she is leaving for Norway, her favourite country.

Since the initiative met with the favour of the young account holders and the grantees obtained brilliant results, Credito Valtellinese is setting up an analogous project, next year.
