Credito Valtellinese Banking Group: Credito Valtellinese Group awards its "A Year Abroad" scholarship

Milan, 11 July 2006. Sara Datturi, a student at the Liceo Linguistico Cairoli in Pavia, is the winner of the "A Year Abroad Scholarship 2006/2007" offered by the Credito Valtellinese Banking Group. The scholarship, open to customers who have Cart@perta Teen cards, sends a student to study abroad during his or her fourth year of secondary school.

The winner, a young lady from of Broni, is the first student from Pavia to be awarded the prestigious scholarship: after applying in January, Sara was chosen by a group of volunteers from Pavia's Intercultura association.
The scholarship award ceremony took place a few days ago in Credito Artigiano's offices with the Chairman, Mr. Angelo Palma and the General Manager, Mr. Luciano Camagni, in attendance.

Through its sponsorship of the Intercultura scholarship, currently in its tenth year, the Credito Valtellinese Banking Group has reaffirmed its commitment to contributing to the education of deserving young students by offering them the valuable experience of studying abroad.

Along with the other 315 students from all over Italy, Sara will set off for the United States on August 9, where she will attend a local public school and live with a local family.
