OMNITEL-BANCAPERTA S.P.A. AGREEMENT TRADING ON LINE AND INVESTMENT FUNDS ON WAP MOBILE PHONES

OMNITEL and BANCAPERTA S. p. A. have come to an agreement concerning Bancaperta's presence (Credito Valtellinese banking Group) on Omnitel web site and consequently enabling the clientele to benefit from the trading and banking on line services offered by the Group member banks thanks to the innovative WAP technology.

This agreement is giving Credito Valtellinese Group's clientele an additional way of getting the numerous web-banking products and services implemented and offered by the member banks. The agreement is part of Omnitel's strategies, which aim at choosing only the best partners in the banking and financial sector, and of Bancaperta's strategies, which aim at reaching co-operation agreements with a leading company in the field of mobile communications.

Bancaperta S.p.A., Credito Valtellinese Group's web-bank, is a virtual bank entrusted with the whole Group's financial activities, Internet banking applications development, electronic payment systems and bank-insurance activities.
As regards the Internet banking applications, Bancaperta S.p.A. with the co-operation of Bankadati - the Group company entrusted with the IT services - and of Crypto S.r.l. - a company that offers a wide range of web-oriented services - has implemented banc@perta, a line of products offered to the Group member banks' clientele via the Internet.
Banc@perta can offer a full range of products and services, which enable the customers to ask detailed information about their current accounts, make and receive payments on line, buy financial products, buy and sell securities, take out insurance policies, ask for credit lines. In particular, as regards the investments, Bancaperta has been the first bank in Italy to offer the Luxembourg Sicav via the Internet.
Today, thanks to Bancaperta, more than 26,000 customers benefit from Credito Valtellinese Group services on-line.
