Share capital increase - Final results for the first tranche of the share capital increase offered as options to shareholders, approved by the EGM of Banca dell'Artigianato e dell'Industria S.p.A. on 30 March 2005

Brescia, 23 September 2005 - Banca dell'Artigianato e dell'Industria S.p.A. has announced, with regard to the first tranche of the share capital increase approved by the EGM on 30 March 2005, offered as options to shareholders, that 5,775,936 new shares have been subscribed. The operation has thus been concluded with the full subscription of the shares offered under options at the price of €7.00 each, €5.16 par value and €1.84 share premium, for a total sum of approximately €40.4 million.

The new share capital will therefore amount to €69,542,269.44 and will be represented by 13,477,184 shares with a par value of €5.16 each.
