Milan, November 5 2001 - Redilco Real Estate S.p.A. was established 2001 with a starting capital of € 25 million, which was recently increased up to € 50 million, acquiring equity stakes in various companies, most of which are controlled by the Mazzi and by the Mascheroni as well. Mr Bruni, who has joined Redilco Real Estate shareholding, played a key role in uniting the forces of such companies.
Redilco Real Estate is entering the housing market in order to form a synergistic group, which can really offer all-round services and undertake big initiatives in the field of real estate, thanks to the expertise of the controlled companies.
A few examples are: Centro Linate Più of Viale Forlanini; the business palace Transatlantico; Centro Malpensa Più, which is located along the A8 motorway, close to the Malpensa airport; the Milanwork Complex of San Giuliano Milanese; the business house of Via Mecenate. Not to mention a series of initiatives abroad. In fact, Redilco Real Estate purchased Hotel Metropole Opera in Paris, a gem situated in the old part of the city. The building of a big multi-purpose complex in Hungary - the International Work Centre - is being planned. The International Work Centre will be situated close to the frontier with Slovenia, just near the new motorway that is under construction to link up the city of Trieste with Budapest and Kiev.
Redilco Real Estate is therefore challenging the housing market with a number of considerable initiatives undertaken by qualified shareholders, who can boast great expertise in this field and are also ready to welcome more partners in the current shareholding profile of the company.
Redilco Real Estate has recently come to a strategic agreement with Credito Artigiano - a Credito Valtellinese Group member bank, which is historically based in Milan. Credito Artigiano has joined Redilco's shareholding profile acquiring a 2.5 million-euro equity stake, representing 6.25% of the capital stock.
Following the agreement, Credito Artigiano will be entrusted with the role of "hausbank" for Redilco Real Estate, supporting its corporate growth and helping the company achieve a number of ambitious objectives in the medium term, including the official listing.
The agreement was arranged with the co-operation of Bancaperta's Corporate Finance Management. Bancaperta is the company entrusted with the activity of corporate finance for Credito Valtellinese banking Group.
Moreover, Credito Artigiano General Manager Luciano Camagni is expected to become a member of Redilco Real Estate Board of Directors as a representative of Credito Valtellinese Group.
